REGISTRATION OPENS FOR LOUISIANA CONTRACTORS ACCREDITATION INSTITUTE’S BUSINESS AND LAW SEMINAR
Registration is open for Louisiana Contractors Accreditation Institute’s next Business and Law Seminar. The 6-week course provides critical information to contractors about construction management and operating a construction related business. Topics will include, bid process; contract management; estimating; equipment management; scheduling; occupational safety; risk management; financial & business management; bonding/access to capital; certifications and available resources; and entrepreneurship training.
The virtual course will be offered Oct 3 through Nov 9. It will feature two-hour sessions twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.
Please note, LCAI’s Business and Law Seminar is not required for licensure. The Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors encourage and endorse this course to help small businesses learn the basic principles of how to be a better contractor. Completion of this course does not grant exemption of any licensing or examination requirements from the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors.
