I hold my contractor’s license in one name, but I do business under a DBA name. Can I advertise, bid, or contract under a DBA?

Anyone licensed by the Board must bid, contract, and perform work in their name as it appears on official records. LSLBC does not recognize DBA’s, Assumed Names or Fictitious Names as legal business entities and it will not appear on official records, including the license.
